Fashion's Night Out is quickly approaching!!! It is September 10th.. I am a bit sad though I will not be in NYC to experience it fully. Last year I attended a real fun party in LA at Fred Segal where I felt like a giddy child meeting some of my favorite designers like Melody Ehsani. Here are some shots from their upcoming PSA.

I was hired as the event producer in charge of Orange County for RAW!!! I start next year but I think I should celebrate now.. YEP this will work just fine :)

RAW art show

On Thursday night in Huntington Beach I participated in my first RAW art showcase. I was given a 6'' by 6'' foot structure and free reign to display my art as I pleased. I really like what it came out to look like. I used fishing line and some hooks and with it being so windy the paintings had a swinging dramatic look :) I have the best girl friends who came out to support me. All in all I had a really fun night.

New painting

I am moving into a new place this weekend and got a chance to start painting it today. I wanted a faux chair rail and after watching project runway where the designers have their "headboards" painted with stripes I knew that is what I wanted to do. The colors are called Dover Plains (the beige) and Cedar Grove ( the brick/rose)

I am obsessed with HGTV's Design Star and on this past episode Michael decided to smash up ceramic angels and make a baroque mirror. I am truly inspired and want to garage sale it up to find some crap to smash up and make fab :) Check out the pics below.
